How to Survive Wedding Season

Decoding the Dress Code

Whether you're headed to a black tie affair or a beach bash, follow these rules for a foolproof way to decode the dress code.

Traditional

There's no need to reinvent the rules here ... Stick with a dark suit and tie and you are good to go.

Beach

You can have a little more fun here.  A light colored jacket is a good choice but if it's really casual you can ditch the jacket (and the shoes).  Take a cue from the groom - if he's not wearing a jacket then neither should you.

Black Tie

A navy tuxedo feels really modern right now.  It still works for any formal occasion but has a little more interest than classic black.

Country

You can't go wrong with a navy sportcoat and you can easily dress it up or down depending on the time of day of the ceremony.
